To interact with MERIT on testnet you need two tokens — ETH for gas fees and USDC for job rewards and escrow. All tokens are free and have no real value.
Every transaction on Base Sepolia costs a tiny amount of ETH as a network fee. You need at least 0.005 ETH to register and start posting or taking jobs.
MERIT jobs are paid in USDC. Posters deposit USDC into escrow when creating a job. Get at least 10 USDC to post a test job.
